Hi Everyone,

My wife and I will be going to DLR for two days (I know, way too short) this week. We will arrive late Wednesday night and spend Thursday and Friday in the parks.

I have tried to find anyone who had a connection with Club 33 to see if they could possibly get us reservations, but it looks like we are going to crap out. I wanted to try to do something special for my wife, since we are both from New Orleans and wanted to experience the best of New Orleans Square.

Anyhow, does anyone have any "must see" attraction that they would recommend for us? Something we should not miss?

Thanks everyone!

Johnny

You should also see the nighttime fireworks show; impressive, and what Tinker Bell does when she flies around the castle puts the straightline Tinker Bell of WDW to shame. (And she's joined at one point by a certain special guest; don't want to ruin it for you, but not to be missed...) Also, the nighttime lights and photo show on the front of the Small World facade is spectacular; you don't want to miss seeing that ride's exterior, which is amazing. The sailing ship Columbia is also a unique way to get around Rivers of America, and we later paddled a canoe, an experience so quaint and 1950s-era that I can't imagine it at WDW. Also, don't pass by a classic Disney ride and assume it's the same in both parks: in almost all cases, it's not; there are changes in sequence, different scenes, etc. I'm talking the likes of Snow White, Peter Pan, the Haunted Mansion and especially Pirates, which is a longer ride with more scenes than at WDW. And don't miss my favorite gem of a Fantasyland dark ride -- Alice in Wonderland. The marching playing cards will blow you away. ...

HI from Houma!

We were there in March. Loved Space Mountain! Much better than WDW. Indiana Jones ride is awesome. POTC is different and has a bayou theme in the beginning. The monorail is a great ride to realx your legs. Tiki Room is original there!!! Autopia is like the Speedway but cuter cars. And yes! The fireworks are awesome!!
