First Trip on My Own

I have been to WDW multiple times before, but on June 12 I will be departing from Pittsburgh International for my first trip on my own. I will be taking my girlfriend and while we will be riding alot, I'd like to make the trip relaxing and romantic when I can. Any sugjestions?

Try and get priority seating for a nice sit down dinner a couple of nights. Rather than eating counter service the whole time lol. Mid day breaks to either just relax or go swimming are a good idea too.

That's all I've got. I'm not really good with romance. When my fiance and I go it's all about FUN. We have no time for romance and relaxation in WDW lol. The whole time there we just go a mile a minute.

Maybe I should listen in for others tips...so I can surprise her next time. :D

[Bear in mind] I do not know the cost...but you could always take a boat ride on the lagoon to watch wishes. I saw this on the Travel Channel once, and you contact the marina at the Grand Floridian (or the Contemporary) and they take you on a cruise to watch the fireworks. That would be awesome.

Those are the only details I know, beacuase I saw it on TV, but it would be worth looking into. Have a great trip!

I agree with some of the above suggestions.

My wife and I like the San Angel Inn in Mexico (EPCOT) for a romantic dinner, but I also hear good things about the California Grill at the Contemporary (especilally a late dinner during fireworks).

A cruise for fireworks is nice too and if you don;t do wishes, I believe there are also cruises for Illuminations as well.

A lot depends on your budget, because there are things like the fireworks cruises and dinner at California Grill already mentioned... it can definitely be a little difficult to be romantic when there are lots of screaming children (and parents) everywhere... we, however, like to take nice walks through the resorts in the late evening.. breaks at the pool or day spa... dinner at Tony's Town Square or many of the restaurants in Epcot (Le Cellier... Bistro de Paris).
You could also call Walt Disney World florist and have a bouquet of flowers delivered to your resort room while you are away at the parks...

We also have found that one of the quickest ways to being romantic is acting like kids and just enjoying the World together.
