First time vistors

It is easy in this board to say "this" attraction should be replaced has not been updated in years, but what about people that have never seen "this" attraction ?
I wonder what percentage of visitors are first time visitors ?

They used to hand out "First Time Visitor" buttons, but you actively had to ask for them so I wonder ?

Maybe 1 out 10 ?

They still have first time visitor buttons, along with a whole slew of others.

Many resorts hand out the first time buttons when guests check in and are welcommed as being first timers. But they are readily available at MK city hall and in the parks guest services areas. I've read that about 65-70% are first timers. Disney markets, advertises, draws in, encourages new visitors continuously. Their hope is to turn the first timers into repeat guests. But many of those one timers are ones who will never revisit. Many people find the cost exorbitant, difficult enough to save for to return. Many dont plan well and have a disappointing trip and wont plan for a better trip. Many think theyve done it and dont care to do it again. Many look at WDW as being for kids only and dont consider trips after the kids are grown.
I agree that some attractions that have gone should have remained and we all miss out on those we never got to try. But if Disney never progressed and updated wed be complaining that its stale and outdated compared to the other parks.
