First Time Trip to DL

My family and I are WDW Veterans, but will be going to the DLR for the first time ever. Can anyone give us tips on all the must sees, what not to miss, any tips or fun trivia/ secrets we should look for when we get to the parks?

Also, we'll be staying at the Paradise Pier Hotel... any feedback on that property is greatly appreciated. Thank you. :wave:

You are going at a great time as the Halloween celebrations will be in full swing with Haunted Mansion Holidays and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, the two not to be missed attractions. Its a great thing they do in Disneyland with seasonal overlays to rides to attract the locals for special events that never happens in WDW. As well as these I would recommend Grizzly River Run(so much better than Khali rapids) Monsters inc Ride, Finding Nemo Submarines as some of the best attractions exclusive to DL. The shows are also really great Dont miss Aladdin the musical(a 45 min broadway style show) and World of Color is worth seeing. My final thought would be Dont expect a west coast WDW because its not that, go with an open mind and enjoy the great resort it is, with Walts influence all around you and a much more cozy compact feel it really is a special place.
