First Time Suggestions for MVMCP Trip

We LOVE Disney, so much so that we make the trip down there several times a year. We've been lucky to witness WDW for all their seasonal decorations - except Christmas - and Christmas is BIG for me. So this year me and the wife decided to stay at DIsney over Christmas (12/18 - 12/26). My first MVMCP ticket is for 12/19, and since I'm saving a significant amount by staying off-property, I figured it might be worthwhile to buy a second ticket for MVMCP in-case the crowds would be insane and we wouldn't really get to see everything.

We would love to get some recommendations from seasoned MVMCP visitors. Maybe something to look out for. A dinner/show package that's a must do. Etc. I LOVE dinner show packages at Disney, and I generally tell everyone I go to Disney for the food lol.

I have attended multiple times and even with the higher crowds, Its a limited event and the park numbers arent excessive. You can do everything. Theres really no need to spend more money to buy another set of tickets. Check out the events and stations in the park ( can be found online) to find out what direction you want to head off in and plan your route. M&G's are excessively popular and they are targeted by everyone because they are characters rarely brought out. ( 7 Dwafs, Jack Skellington, Scrooge McDuck and others ) So there will be long lines.
If you are looking for a dinner show package, the Candlelight Processional at EP is a really good show and because of limited seating it makes the purchase ideal.

I wouldn't buy a second round of MVMCP tickets unless you have your heart set on waiting on line to get as many special character autographs/pictures as possible. You should be able to cover the rest of the party events between 4pm when you can get in with your tickets and midnight when it ends. If you are concerned about hitting all the MK attractions, save those for a regular park day without having to buy extra special event tickets.
On a related note, if you have never seen the holiday decorations before, I highly recommend the gingerbread house at the GF and the chocolate carousel at the Beach Club.

Understood - so bypassing buying the second round of tickets. Definitely waiting for Candlelight Processional to go on sale so I can book that - it looks amazing.

I was planning on following the Yuletide Tour that I found online. It seems to hit all the resorts for decorations. I suppose with the 5 days we'll spend at the parks - we'll end up doing everything we want even with the crowds.

Thanks for the tips!
