We have visited the boardwalk inn before but never stayed there!

We have a water view room booked. Any tips on room requests in that category?

For those who have stayed at the boardwalk inn- what are some can't miss things to see and do while we are there? Share your memories/experiences- I am getting so excited!

Stayed there probably 8 times as part of our home DVC resort

You want to ask for a room close to the elevators because boardwalk was not designed with in regards to the elevators and stairwells and can lead to long walks down hallways.

Enjoying the night time entertainment on the boardwalk. Walking the loop around past Y&B. walking to Hollywood studios and Epcot. Or just walking to the bridge towards Epcot to catch the fireworks.

Nighttime swims when no one is in the pool. Beaches n cream. Can't remember which one but swan or dolphin has a very good ice cream parlor

I'm really quite disturbed that the bakery will be closed while we are there. SO lame

There is not much to experience at the current bakery---very small (maybe 100sq ft for guest), very crowded, and not a huge selection. It should be a vast improvement once it opens again. I believe one of the spots on the boardwalk will have bakery type goods. Also if you go on the lobby level on the Inn side there is a small counter space with coffee and pastries.
