This is my first time going to Disney with my 8 year old daughter, we are going on a 7 day 6 night vacation with family. We are staying at a vacation home. Can anyone recommend things to see and do that won't cost me an arm and two legs..(lol) while we are there? Total of kids going age ranges 8 years old (3) 13 years old (1) 16-17 years old (2)
(TIA)

Just remember that you don’t have to do everything in one day. Pace yourself. Plenty of free/low cost options (Disney Springs, resort hopping, Boardwalk, and places off-property like ICON and Wonderworks)

Just do some research, watch some videos, and ask some questions. You’ll be fine.

Oh wow, what a wonderful experience she, and you, are going to have. At 8 years old, may I suggest the majority of the time at the Magic Kingdom

I'm sorry, I mean at Disney World
I’m not sure what sites I can link here, but I would start by Googling “resort hopping”. There is a lot to see and do at the different Disney resorts! Are you driving or using ride shares? If you’re driving, other posters may be able to speak more to the best place to park. Disney Springs is also a great area and entry is free.

Are you looking for “things to see and do” that are not the theme parks?

You should first decide how many park days you want to do. The cost per day gets more affordable with each additional day. There’s a 4-day ticket deal, for example.

Once you’re in the park, you don’t need to spend anything extra if you don’t want to. Eg they allow you to bring in your own food, and you can take a backpack.
