Well first off...welcome to the boards!

I hope you have a Magical time on your trip!

There are advantages to traveling alone...one being the fact that you can do things at your own pace..ride whatever you want with access to the Single Riders lane.

I just got back on the 26th and I'm going again later this month for the Everest preview so I can't go with you now. But if you ever go again, and need someone with you, let me know and I'll go with you. I'm 20 years old. I go alone a lot, and it's not that bad, but sometimes you just want a little company. BTW, where are you from?

Have fun wish we could go with you too! Im sure someone on here will be around those dates, they can also show you around a lil bit. Its tough to take it all in on your first trip but enjoy it to its fullest.

Even if you don't get anyone to meet up with you, you can still have a really great time by yourself. It certainly is not unusual to see single riders in the wait lines. Also, the lines are great places to strike up conversations and meet people from all over the world. There's so much to see and do and so many opportunities to talk with people, you probably won't ever feel really alone.

Welcome to the boards! I went several times when I lived in Tampa just for the day by myself. It does have its advantages like the single riders line. Also you can do what you want to do. Its nice to do things at your own pace. Also I ended up finding people to ride with that were in odd numbers. I rode BTMRR and Splash with the same family of 3. It was good times.

Someone emailed me that is going to be at wdw 1 day before i get there and staying at the same resort too. We might meet and they said they can give me some pointers and show me around...ect.

Someone asked me once if I could ever just go to WDW by myself...

I can't wait to take a solo trip. Right now I'm just waiting on my husband's work schedule which he'll receive in March (he's gonna be the babysitter!).

The "Dad" in me says be carefull meeting someone who agrees to ride with you... The world is not as nice as we'd like it to be. I'm not saying don't meet someone, I'm suggesting meet them somewhere crowded and don't agree to anything that makes you uncomfortable.
