So I live in FL and had the opportunity to go to DL with my brother-in-law. I had my tripod with my Canon 60d that I had only owned for a month or so. We managed to get right in front so we thought we were going to be sitting pretty. Well, a Friday night in Jan at Disneyland is like a McDonalds after a Friday football game, packed. Okay, so there was nothing but a 10 foot walk way between us and the castle area, so guess what happens? That's right, people walk and stop right in front of us. Remember, we are down on the street and the people walking are on the sidewalk so, that means as they walk and stop, they are right in front of our cameras (we both had tripods).
Anyway, we were all yelling to move on and finally the Disney people kept them moving. Well, because of the slow shutter, I got some neat movement blur as the people walk by. Anyway, all was not lost as I raised my tripod as far as I could go and zoomed in slightly. It was tough carrying the tripod all day but I believe these photos made it worth it.
Please leave comments and let me know what you think. I do love Disneyland.
