hi! it is my first time at the CR..I have stayed at pretty much every other hotel in DW except for this one. I am staying in the Main Atrium Tower with Bay Lake view. Thanks ahead for the feedback!

First time at the CONTEMPORARY RESORT..thoughts?

We have stayed at the Contemporary and Bay Lake - love the location! The food court there also has good food and having the monorail right there is fantastic! TBH I like the "themeing" at other resorts better - but really love the location of CR. We always make a stop at their gift shop even when we are not staying there also..

This is my absolute favorite resort! I have loved it since I was a kid. And why you might ask? The freaking Monoral runs THROUGH it.

We have stayed at the Contemporary in the past, and really loved it. My son was little at that time, and we figured, it being able to walk to MK, and the monorail literally thru the resort, was a must do for us. As my son got older, we went to the Poly and never left LOL You will really enjoy the Contemporary!!!

CR has long been one of our favorite resorts. We have stayed there many times. The convenience to the MK is wonderful. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. It is great fun to watch the monorail disappear into the hotel. It is a great place to stay and I hope you enjoy it!

ask for a room as far away from chef mickey as possible if you have any thoughts of sleeping past the 1st breakfast time of the morning. we had a party of 3 adults 1 child and originally asked to be up as high as possible. we were soooo happy to see we were on level 11 UNTIL i walked in the room and saw it was a king room (ugh...) they moved us to the 5th floor i think it was... right in front of chef mickey's (on the side opposite the monorail) and chef mickey's was all we could hear (they do singing etc... during service).

My family has been staying there since I was a child!!! Soooo for 30 something years!! Love love love it the most!!! Perfect location, monorail, and Chef Mickey... What more could you ask for? We have tried Grand Floridian in the past too but we always come back to Contemporary!! We have DVC so now we stay at Bay Lake Tower.. still LOVE IT!!!! Have a wonderful trip!!!

OK, I have only stayed in the Garden Wing, but we loved it. The walk to the Magic Kindgdom is such a nice perk. Watching fireworks for the deck off the 4th floor (I think that's the floor) is nice if you're outside the park and not doing Cali Grill that night, you can go out to the dock and watch the Electrical Water Pageant, plus the launch to WL is also a plus. We found bus service to be excellent and it's soooooooo easy getting to ADRs on the monorail resort loop. We also found the service to be EXCELLENT! From check in, to help with our door, restaurants, and bell services...everyone was amazing. Enjoy your stay!!!

I have never stayed there but it has always intrigued me. We are going to explore it this month for a possible stay in the future.
