First time at Caribbean Beach Resort - tricks and tips please

Heading to Disney for Spring Break 2020! First time staying at CBR. Any suggestions/tips/tricks you have to offer would be greatly appreciated. We do have a preferred room reservation. Going with 2 Star Wars loving boys and hubby. Is it possible to walk to Hollywood Studios?? We of course will have to ride Rise of the Resistance - trying to plan how we will get there before rope drop. Thanks in advance for your advice!

Preferred rooms are in Barbados and Martinique. Barbados would be the shorter walk of the two to the Skyliner hub station.

Is it possible to walk to Hollywood Studios??

No. You’ll need to use the Skyliner (which may or may not open early enough to get there prior to rope drop) or the bus (which will be operating early enough to arrive prior to rope drop.)

Uber or Lyft can also get you to the park if you don’t have your own vehicle.

Agreed with the above, Skyliner is best bet for transportation to Epcot and especially DHS for Rise of the Resistance.

As for CBR, I have never stayed there but I love the food there: Spyglass Grill is a quick service near one of the quiet pools and their food was delicious, I have been dying to try breakfast there as well. The sit-down restaurant Sebastians is really nice and I enjoyed dinner there when it first opened, have not been back but I hear it is just as good!

Uber/Lyft/Minnie Vans will pick you up and drop you off at the roundabout by your building. No need to walk to Old Port Royale for pickups. This is a super helpful tip I picked up for my trip last week.

Also, walk whenever possible. The internal resort shuttle is not reliable and takes FOREVER to cycle through. I had a foot injury and couldn’t walk, but travel times were so crazy I ended up often suffering through it and just walking.

This is a huge resort with a great pool. Another added plus is having a Coke Freestyle machine located close to each section.
