Hey everyone, I need your help, especially from those who have been to WDW this summer or spring. Im planning out my 'attack plan' for each park and since its been 4 years since i was last there i need help figuring out which ride to aim for first to eliminate or minimize wait time, particularly Epcot since Soarin' and Mission Space werent there the last time i went... so in your opinion which ride should we take care of first? also which rides do you recommend taking advantage of fastpass on? Thank a lot everyone!

Hey There!..my advice is to pay attention to wait times upon arrival in the parks. Usually the popular rides (SOARIN/MS/RNRC/ToT ect.)may have a bit of a wait...If so...these are the rides you should get Fast Passes for. I also suggest taking advantage of "single rider lanes"(when avail) if you dont mind splitting your group. Hope this helps!!!!!

HAVE A MAGICAL TIME!!!!!

If you're staying on property, definately take advantage of early entry and extra magic hours. If not, plan your visits so you go to a part that did NOT have early entry that day.

For Epcot, I recommend heading straight to M:S, get your fastpasses and then go to TT and wait through the line, and there's a good chance your fastpass time will be up once you get done. (or vise versa depending on the standby wait time)

For MK do the same thing. Although its easier at Epcot because they're so close together. But you can get FP for Buzz Lightyear and wait for Space Mtn or vise versa.

For MGM, RnR and ToT, wait for one after getting FP for the other.

For AK, get FP for Kali River or Dinosaur, then head to the safari ride.

this worked well for us!

Use Fastpass for-The 3 Mountains, Philharmagic, Buzz, Stitch (if you WANT to see it ), Jungle Cruise, and Peter Pan

Hit Fantasyland, The Tomorrowland Indy Speedway, and a few of the above mentioned at opening.

EPCOT-

Go Directly to Soarin' to get a FP, or wait, or my favorite option, do both! Get FP for Test Track and Mealstrom (if needed)

Mission Space slows down later in the day, but hit The Land and a few others early.
Visit Spaceship earth in the early afternoon.

MGM-

Go in and grab a FP for the Rock n' Roller Coaster, and go wait for Tower of Terror.

Hit Star Tours, The stunt shows, and voyage of the little mermaid with FP

DAK-Hit the Safari 1st, followed by the 1st showing of the Festival of the Lion king at 9:40.

Fastpass your way through Dinoland, and onto Kali River Rapids

Hope this Helps!!

i notice peter pan is usually crowded, might want to take that into consideration

otherwise, all i can say is go early, get what you want done, then do the rest

remember, fastpass is a godsend

Epcot and Fastpass Advice

-Go DIRECTLY to The Land and ride Soarin'. It currently has the longest lines in Epcot.

-Once you've definitely gotten a chance to ride Soarin', head to the west. See which ride, Test Track or Mission Space, has a longer line. Get a fastpass for the longer line, and wait in the regular line for the shorter line. Also, both Test Track and Mission Space have singles lines, so if both regular lines are really long, just use the singles line and walk right past those poor people stuck waiting in line!

-After that, observe Future World, going to any pavilion that seems interesting to your group. I personally enjoy Turtle Talk at the Living Seas, Honey I Shrunk the Audience at Imagination! and Spaceship Earth.

-Eat lunch at a World Showcase sit-down restaurant for an enjoyable meal. They are usually less crowded than Future World's two sit-down restaurants (Garden Grill has characters and Coral Reef has live fish).

-Hit World Showcase, seeing as many movies/rides as you can. Considering you haven't been to WDW recently, it would be a great way to remind yourself which countries you enjoy and what movies/rides you can actually sit/stand through.

-Return to Future World, going back on the rides you enjoyed (assuming wait times are reasonable) or what you missed.

-Eat dinner. If you go to a full service restaurant, be sure to eat before IllumiNations.

-View IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, Disney's greatest fireworks show ever created (in my opinion)!

Fastpass: Often, you'll have to choose between a few attractions when getting Fastpass. Here are examples.

Splash Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain

Peter Pan, PhillharMagic or Winnie the Pooh

Buzz Lightyear, Stitch or Space Mountain

Test Track or Mission Space

Soarin' or Living with the Land

Tower of Terror or Rock N Roller Coaster

Indiana Jones (does it still have fastpass?) or Star Tours

Primeval Whirl or Dinosaur

Kali River Rapids or Expedition Everest (when it opens)

The examples above show how often two neighboring attractions offer fastpass, and you'll have to decide which ride is worth waiting in line in, and which ride is worth getting fastpass.

My trick is to aim for all the more popular attractions of whichever park I am at at the moment (i.e. Tower of Terror or RnRC at the Studios, Space/Splash/Big Thunder Mountain at Magic Kingdom) at park opening. It isn't as crowded at park opening as it will be in the afternoon. But the wait times can change drastically depending on which day you are there (on a Wednesday, you can go on Tower of Terror at least 3 times [at least I have] in a row but on a Saturday the line can grow fast.
