Reminds me of the days when the networks would preview the upcoming saturday morning cartoon season lineup. We'd plan out which shows to watch on what channel.

Honestly, good for them for trying something different that won't really interfere with anyone else's enjoyment of the park.

It probably would make more sense at Disneyland, but that's not where the Disney Jr. stage show is, so I get it.

That was what people called it on another message board, back in the 2000's. I'm afraid I can't claim that title as my own invention, but I'm glad I suddenly remembered it. It's terribly clever. And accurate. 🤣
Pre-opening? Harsh. Not inaccurate, but harsh.

What was the west coast perception of DCA before previews and opening?

I meant 2000's as in the decade, not the year 2000. If I'm remembering it correctly, it was a funny phrase being used derisively around Disneyland's 50th, so roughly the mid 2000's; '05, '06, etc.

The west coast perception of DCA before opening wasn't good, but we thought they might surprise us. They didn't.

There were two fairly redeeming qualities however; Soarin' over California, and DCA's valid liquor license. But those two things weren't enough to save the park.
