First Diamond Release of 2015?

I am making a guess....with Pinocchio being released today in 1940, next year this will be the first Diamond release of 2015, celebrating it's 75th Anniversary.

What do you think?

It will be Aladdin the next 4 to get released will be sleeping beauty this fall. Then Aladdin next is 101 Dalmatian then Pinocchio.

There's no gaurantee of this and I would be very surprised if Aladdin did not get a fall release date.

Pinocchio was already released on blu ray at the 70th anniversary mark. I doubt they would re-release as a Diamond edition.

I would love to see Song of the South, with lots of extras (about the mixture of animation with live action at that time period, as well as maybe a feature about race relations and Hollywood -- that is, if it will help get the film releaased).

It also might be a good time to give Fantasia a Diamond Edition. It also is from 1940. There was already a combo pack Blu-Ray with Fantasia 2000 I believe, but Fantasia is worthy of its own Diamond Edition Blu-Ray, and it should be ripe with special features.

From where? Who said it? I've read nothing about this from any kind of "official" or rumoured source. Let's wait until the ad for the next Diamond gets attached to Sleeping Beauty before assuming anything with WDSHE.

Whoa, whoa... easy there. Never said nothin' bout it being official or anything, just seems like a likely scenario to me (and talk around Blu-ray forums on the web) due to the anniversary timing and all. 101 Dalmatians could very well be the next one. Who knows.

Aladdin should be next, as a child of the 90's I've always thought 90's Disney movies were still the best ever. Beauty and the beast and Aladdin are tops.

Since Little Mermaid got reissued at the end of 2013, I'd imagine we'd see Beauty & the Beast or Aladdin again before too long.

I'm hoping for Beauty and the Beast. I don't know why I didn't get a copy when it came out last time. I apparently was insane. I have a three year old OBSESSED with Belle.
