Fireworks-preferred viewing mk

Hello MK Experts, As part of the package I booked I am entitled to preferred viewing of Wishes @MK. I have a tentative reservation for Jan. 28th a Saturday night. Here is my situation. I am staying @ AKL and have an ADR that night for 5PM at Sanaa, which I have been to before-it is awesome!!!
I was wondering what time Wishes started, and what time I would have to show up for my preferred viewing spot? Would I be able to make it in time, I guess taxi right after dinner would be the quickest way there. Usually at AKL
there is a taxi available within minutes. I tried for a couple alternate nights, but this is what they had available for the preferred viewing. Is the preferred viewing really worth the extra effort? Anyone having any experience with this please let me know. If you are out there Master Yoda, you can chime in also, please!!!!!!

The fireworks are at 8pm that night. You should have time to make it but if you feel better taking a taxi then take one to the Contemporary and walk over from there. I would get there by 7:30.

Thanks for the quick response Pam. Do you know how long it takes to walk from The Contemporary over to MK, and then where would I need to go to
check in for my spot? Do you think it is worth maybe rushing a little bit for the preferred view?

It shouldn't take you more than a leisurely 10 mins to walk over. I do believe that you check in over near the tomorrow land terrace. Did they not explain it to you when you booked it?
