Hi all, heading down in a month and I was wondering if it is possible to see the MK fireworks from the beaches at the Polynesian? Any insight you all have on this would be appreciated. Trying to find a nice, quiet location to view them from. Thanks.

That is by far my fav place to see them! My boyfriend and I watch the fireworks from there all the time! We were CP's and got to see the Forth of July fireworks from there. It is never crowded and we usually grab some towels from the pool area and use them as blankets and lay on the chairs! Very romantic and really magical.
You get to see and hear (they play the music over loud speakers) all the magic without being crowded or tired at the end of a day in the parks. We usually do that on our "night off" I love it there!

One more question

Here's one more quick question. We won't be staying there, is that a problem or can we still walk to the beaches. I know some areas of some resorts are for those guests only (usually the pool areas) but I thought I should ask. Thanks.

I have never had a problem! I went even when I wasn't a castmember and I had no problems. I could be wrong, and it might start a fight, but I just went. I think people stay after the luau too.... and they aren't staying there. I know it can be done if you aren't staying, but I don't know if it's against the rules :D
