Fires at Universal

I see that the local news is saying that Beetle juice and Captain America resturant have been evacuated following fires.

Universal Studios Fire Prompts Evacuation

The Orlando Fire Department responded to a second fire at Universal Studios on Tuesday afternoon.

The second fire was at the Captain America Diner in Islands of Adventure.

Guests were evacuated from the area.

The first fire, reported earlier on Tuesday, was in the area of the Beetlejuice show.

Ah, thanks. Guessing it was just something pyro-related at Beetlejuice and something in the kitchen at Captain America... probably not too serious.

Probably not, as there hasn't been any updates.

I'm not trying to be an alarmist, but didn't the fire at USH start as a small contained fire. :shrug:

I was over there earlier this afternoon and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, so they must've been very small or happened later in the day.

There was one a few years back in one of the studio's during a TNA Pay Per View taping but it was a pyrotechnic related one and it only delayed the show about a half hour. Still it was pretty entertaining seeing them try to fill a half hour worth of stuff on the fly haha
