Finding places to live near Disney

My wife was hired by Disney for attractions, and I am transferring to the JCPenney at the Florida Mall. We are looking for places to live since we currently reside in MA.

I have a few friends in the area, but my wife will be looking at some places since she is coming down before I am. As a matter of fact she is coming down in two days, with me following anywhere from 3-5 weeks after, depending on lodging.


I need suggestions for affordable housing fairly near Disney and the Florida Mall. A friend suggested the Buena Vista Apartments, near the CM entrance, but I don't know what they are like. I have also seen other places in either Kissimmee or St. Cloud, but any suggeestions would be welcome.

I would suggest somewhere in the Hunters Creek area, that is close to the Florida Mall and Disney. It is also a nice neighborhood.
