Finding Nemo Musical Questions

Hello,

I've never seen the Finding Nemo Musical in AK. One of the days on my upcoming WDW trip will be 1/2 day AK, 1/2 day DHS. Whatever time we spend in AK at the musical would take away from our time at DHS. I'll be traveling with adults - no children. (1) Is seeing the musical worth it? (2) If I did choose to see it, how early before the show start would I need to line up? (3) Is it strange to see the non-musical movie with unfamiliar songs?

Thanks!

1 - Yes, especially if you are a Nemo fan.
2 - Depends on when you are going to WDW, which showing you see, and how good of a seat you want.
3 - Not for me, but I've seen plenty of non-musical movies turned into musicals. (And I think that Disney did a pretty good job with this one.)

I think it's an absolutely marvelous show.

But then I am a fan of puppets, and musicals...as well as a fan of the movie.

But I tell you, I do believe it was on par with the Broadway musicals that Disney does so well.

as far as not knowing the music...well, if you have been tot he Living Seas with Nemo, then you have heard at least one of the tracks they use.

I have seen it every time I have been in AK, and that has been just adults in our party as well. We don't really spend much time looking at animals, and after riding everything in AK, there is still time to see this show.

I have gone in at the last minute, and still got decent seats...though not up front.

I've gone pretty last minute as well and gotten seats, but I never get a "good" seat. I don't mind a poor view, though, and I'd rather not wait.

But if you are only seeing this show once and not returning to DAK for several years, you might want to line up.

Nemo is my favorite show in all of WDW! It's definitely worth checking out, even with no kids. The songs are clever and catchy, and the puppets are really cool. We saw it twice on our last trip - the first time we walked up about 15 minutes beforehand, and we were sitting in the back. My son LOVED it (and we did, too), so we went back a second time a few days later, and this time we got there about an hour early and were first in line. Seeing it from the front was really cool. We enjoyed it so much that we got the soundtrack, and my son usually wants to listen to it every time we get in the car. I will definitely be going to see it again on my next trip, which will be adults only.

The Nemo show is something we don't miss on our trips. It is so well done. We like to be down closer, so we always wait before show time. Normally we line up around 45 minutes before, depending on crowd levels of course.

And I think you may be selling yourself short by only going to AK for only 1/2 of a day. There is so much to see there.

Don't forget to see Festival of the Lion King.
