Is there a Fastpass option available for the musical? I could see both sides, just wondering, I would much rather stand in a queue line for Everest than stratch down pavement for this... just curious.

No there is not. I would get there very early. I got there almost an hour early in December and I was in the front of line and there were people lining up right after me.

Am I correct that the theater sits 1600? If that is so, then lines should move... fairly fast correct? I haven't been since last August so the show was not open at that time, I undertand there are four showtimes. So you just kinda wait around till one starts and if you don' get in that one, you wait for what 2 more hours?

This show has become popular like Fantasmic. Nearly every show has a line starting about an hour before the show. A couple of times at least 45 minutes before the show the line all the way back to DinoLand and technically full. In other words, people were lining up but capacity was full way in front of them. Go early!

I would go to the first show if possible and get there no later than 45 minutes ahead of time...they let you go down by the entrance doors on the left hand side of the theater and then you wait there till they start seating....Alot of guests go sit down close but I would try to sit in the middle section of the upper area....right beind the VIP section.

I seem to recall that the earliest show was the longest as far as waiting time. I remeber the line stretching all the way to virtually the entrance to dinoland, I would try the last show or the ones in between.

And yea, the middle is the best place to sit IMO.

There are typically 4 shows per day and the show times differ based on park hours. Normally, the first show isn't till about 11 or so. The show runs at 40 minutes long, and I recommend arriving 45-60min early. The theater is big, so once it opens, the line moves, but not until then. Some people at the end of the line become 1st for the next show!

We tried to see it at the end of April. We got in line about 35 minutes before start time, and we and a BUNCH of people in front of us did not get in. So I agree you need to get there close to an hour early. I think they suggest getting there at least 45 minutes early. There were very light crowds on the day we went, so we thought we would be fine getting in line when we did, but we were wrong!

Actually, I was at AK on 4/29 and one of the earlier shows had the line all the way to DinoLand, so we went to the 3 o'clock one (not sure what exact time but it was around 3ish) and we lucked out and got in line (right near the sign that has the showtimes and a poster), and yea it was about 40 minutes prior and we got amazing seats. But in all honesty, I don't see a difference in earlier shows and later shows. All of the shows are going to be packed and the lines will be long.
