So, I need to find a new doctor now that I have taken up permanent residence in NYC. How have others gone about finding a new doctor? Forunately, health insurance is covered and then some... I just need to find someone...

Actually, same goes for dentistry too..

The best way is to ask friends who they use and if they are satisfied with the service. You could also call the insurance company & they will give you a list of doctors that participate in the plan. Call the physican referral service from the closest hospital.
