Find Apartments

Hi Guys,

I'm not down there yet, but I am on my 1 year plan. Which means I will either find a job from NY (where I am now) and move down to Polk County for the job, or I will move next summer and find a job when I get there.

As far as jobs, my searching shows that there is plenty of programming jobs between Orlando, Tampa and Lakeland. So I don't think I will have trouble getting a job if I was actually in Florida.

Looking for Jobs at a distance is easy, there are a ton of websites. Looking for Apartments is a different matter.
What do you guys look at when you are searching for an apartment? I am really want to be in Polk County.

Thanks!!!!
Cindy in Long Island.

When i visit Disney I would pick up a Apartment Guide bood at a local supermarket.....that has your basic info just in a booklet form.....

Or sometimes i would look on Orlando Sentinal.com.....or go on rent.net....(make sure to click on apartments , or you might be in the Musical Rent site) ...

Good Luck....

Thanks everyone!
I am actually coming down in two weeks for an interview in Lakeland! :D Yeah! I'm very excited about it. :D
The interview is on Friday so I am going to try and take Saturday and look at Apartments, incase I actually get the job.

Anyone have any thoughts on Cambridge Cove in Lakeland? It looks like a nice place in the pictures?

Thanks!!
Cindy currently in NY
