Interesting video. Not quite calling BS on this, but doesn't the clip of the Hat Box Ghost seem like it's merely a 2D photo rotating and not actual footage? There's something about it that appears to lack any depth/dimension. Amazing if it is real though!

No, there's actual movement/action: The wicker room divider passes between the camera and the figure; the head inside the hatbox can be seen flashing on and off in time with a heartbeat; the hand on the cane can be seen to "wobble" (however, I myself can't make out the cane wobble, but others can see it); the angle changes correctly as the camera passes the figure.

I feel confident is it a legitimate Regular 8mm home movie film, although incorrectly transferred using a Super-8 set up. (We're not supposed to see the sprocket holes, but that may have been done intentionally to see all of the image that is normally masked.)

On the other hand, anything can be faked by someone with the right skill set.
