Is there anywhere on property to get fetticine alfredo? I thought Mama Melrose's or Tony's would have it but neither do. Any ideas?

Not since they closed Alfredo's di Roma [the predecessor to Tutto Italia].

I think that because Fettuccine Alfredo was the "signature dish" of the previous restaurant, the new one wouldn't carry it.

While it isn't really Fettuccine Alfredo, the wood grilled shrimp or chicken at Mama Melrose's is somewhat similar. It has a common cream sauce, and everything they put it is delicious (the wood grilled chicken is one of my favorite dishes on property). You can also get an alfredo pasta with chicken at the Pop food court and possibly some others.

They have it at the Pepper Market at the Coronado. I've had it several times. The only problem I've had with it is that the portion is huge and I end up only eating half of it (and I can't share with DH because he doesn't like fettucine).

You're right, they wouldn't DARE carry it at Tutto Italia, at least not yet. Maybe someday. Alfredo's Fettucine Alfredo is hard to beat. We recently had it again in New York City (it is even more expensive there than it was at Disney World!) and it is still awesome.

As mentioned above, the wood grilled chicken pasta at Mama Melrose uses an alfredo sauce that is to die for.

Also, Whispering Canyon has a wonderful alfredo sauce with their chicken pasta entree that I highly recommend.

I too miss the fetticine alfredo from Alfredo's. Wasn't Tutto Italia supposed to be temporary with a major renovation & new italian restaurant taking its place? Looks like it's become permanent now.

The penne alfredo with chicken at Pop is pretty good. They do have fettuccine alfredo at Planet Hollywood with either chicken or shrimp, but I don't really recommend it.

I would hazard a guess that none of these were like the one at Alfredo's di Roma

Which of course was a heart attack on a plate, but who is counting :) I try not to eat huge meals, but when called upon I can put the food away if I have too

Alfredo's alfredo was one meal that I had trouble finishing. It was just so rich. According to the waitress, they used no cream in the sauce, it is all butter and cheese.

No wonder I had to go lie down :)

it was meant to be temporary and close this past Fall...we'll see how long it stays open. I'm guessing it's permanent, too. It's surprising since it's actually run by the Patina Group (runs some restaurants at Disneyland's Downtown Disney, including Naples) and the replacement for Tutto Italia was to be their flagship.

i know this doesnt help answer your question but i too LOVED the old alfredos fetticine. beyond rich and the pasta was made fresh at the site or least they made it look that way with the noodles drying in the window. i was crushed when the restaurant closed. ive never had better alfredo anywhere.
