Hey guys. Icicle, here, in Disney World, and I thought I'd give an update to those who didn't catch the 4:00 Festival of the Lion King show, yesterday. During the show, in the first act, with the Acrobatic Monkeys, one of the monkeys hurt his knee when he tried to jump on the trampoline to get the highest pole, in the center of the stage. They had to stop the act, and with the quick thinking of the Cast Member playing Timon, he got the crowd clapping and had everyone distracted and still interacting with the show and having fun. I don't think some of the smaller kids actually knew what had happened, but it was definetely serious. The injured Monkey did not come back into the show, and they had to continue through most of the show without the monkeys. When they did return, later, two came back on stage, and then the other one came back, but he returned without the injured monkey. I'm not exactly sure what happened, but if we've got some FOTLK Cast Members, here, pleeeease let him know that I wish him well in his recovery!!!
While I'm giving updates about shows, two days ago, during one of the earlier Cinderellabration shows, Aurora and Prince Phillip DID NOT come out. Not only did they not come out, but they skipped their introduction, and they skipped THEM entirely. They announced Snow White and "Her Prince" and Aladdin and Jasmine, and then they said "and finally, Belle and her Prince" and I was like "Wait... where's Prince Phillip and Aurora..." haha, I was quite sad... Any news on the two of them? By the way, this was the day that MGM had a down pour, and apparently, this same cloud was headed towards Magic Kingdom, so as soon as it started sprinkling, the announcer came on and told everyone that due to inclement weather, this production of Cinderellabration was cancelled, and the actors just casually left the stage. However, they still fired off the flares and bursts, and it ended up barely even sprinking, and that was the end of that.
If anyone was there during those two shows, either yesterday, August 7th, or two days ago, August 6th, then please feel free to give your input.
Two nights ago, at the Hoop-Dee-Doo... MAN was that group great! I've seen different people do that show just about every time I come here, and that group was GREAT! By the way, if anyone knows the guy who plays Johnny, tell him the guy on table 34 is looking for him
