Festival of Fantasy/Stars on Parade Maleficent dragon at night

For anyone wondering what the Festival of Fantasy Maleficent dragon looks like at night, just look at the Paris version. Note Paris is Still able to use their Main Street Christmas garland! And their dragon still breathes fire with the garland!

I was worried about the garlands but glad they survived at DLP.

Do you remember the reason why they took the garlands down at WDW? I think it had to with the parade, but gave a lame excuse that it was obstructing the castle? It took them since 1970's to figure that out? If DLP can still have garland, I would like to see garland brought back at WDW...sorry off topic, but little things like this just burn my buns!

After seeing DLP being able to run their new parade with the garland that definitely isn’t the reason why WDW cut theirs. It must have to do with the “castle view”.

They had her outside the float building in MK during the Princess Half last Sunday. The line for pictures with the dragon was longer than the line for pictures with Cinderella and Aurora. I'd love to take that dragon home with me.

DLP dragon is smaller, so can fit under the garland I believe hence why they can keep it

I am 99% the dragon is the same size. I believe the DLP garlands aren't as deep and also higher up. If you compare photos you'll see what I mean.

DLP garlands are higher up than MK ones but the tallest float is Mickey's airship and not the dragon so the dragon isn't the problem.
