Festival Center Wine Shop Question

Anyone have any expierence with purchasing bottles of wine at the Epcot F&W Festival Center Wine Shop and getting them back home with you in one piece? Any tips?

Many times we bought bottles of wine at F&W and between 3 of us, packed them in our luggage, wrapped in the beach towels we buy at Typhoon lagoon,then place the wrapped bottle of wine between shoes, and never had a problem. You can also have them shipped directly to your home.

They will wrap and package your bottles very nicely for you at the shop.

Putting them in padding (any kind of padding - towels, dirty laundry, special wine padding, etc) in the center of your suitcase works for me. Just in case, I put any bottles in one of those giant sized zip loc bags they sell. It took one broken bottle of rum on the way home from the Cayman Islands to lean that lesson. I glad I didn't get pulled over on the dive home, the car reeked of booze.

start out with a bunch of bubble wrap, then towels, and lastly when you check your bag tell them its fragile and they will put special stickers on your luggage.
