Besides the Rivers of America stuff for Star Wars land what is closed for refurbishment this week in February? I'm seeing conflicting reports and can't find a list. Do they not announce refurbishment like Disney World for the uber planners???

Why not just relax and enjoy your time there and not worry about what is closed during your visit? There is a lot to do.

I know but have flexibility in dates and saw that World of Color might be dark. I'm taking a first timer and wanted them to see this. Fantasmic is similar to the one in Disney World, different but same general idea.

You can cheat by looking at the AP homepage on the Disneyland.com site. Right now it's showing refurbs further than the actual calendar section of the site:

Thank you!!

Note that it's not likely to be completely accurate at this time. For example, Soarin' isn't showing as closed, but it will be. The Disneyland Park listing seems correct - Jungle Cruise, Autopia, Rivers of America attractions, Fantasmic - those are all in lengthy refurbs at that time.

Disneyland.com is currently listing World of Color as dark from January 19 - February 1.

What would be the reason for WOC-C! to be down??? I was just going to start a thread about this, but decided to search around first.Like it or not, WOC-C! is a big part of the 60th and should be playing nightly until the 60th is over.

World of Color needs maintenance like any other attraction. It's gone down for a week or two during the winter every year. Nothing unusual.

WOC-C is not a big part of the 60th. As far as guests are concerned, the 60th equals PTN and Forever.

Much as some of you don't, when we saw it in October, we thought WOC was really well done and (gasp!) better than the original we had seen twice previously. We chose watching it over DL Forever fireworks as it seemed more relevant to the history of DL (from videos of DL Forever we saw online).

Glad you liked it! You should catch Forever at some point - it's really spectacular. It isn't a Disneyland history show, but it doesn't need to be. After 10 years of Remember, it's good for things to be changed up for a while.
