'Fear Factor' taping at Universal Orlando

(12/16/04) Screamscape sources tell us that Fear Factor will be taping a speical Newlywed episode at Universal Orlando from January 7-9th. No word yet on if they will allow an audience to watch any given sement of the show or not. Typically this isn’t done but it has been done before on the special episodes shot in the past, such as the shoot at Las Vegas’ Luxor casino.

I will be in Orlando during those dates so I will definitely check this one out (if audiences are allowed of course).

I've checked both the Fear Factor websites and the Universal sites and I can't seem to find anything about this. I seem to recall seeing a commericial for an episode that was already taped that would be airing in January that was already shot here...Maybe I'm confusing something esle...Anyone know more about this? I would like to watch!

Went to Uni yesterday and saw the set-up they have. It will be filmed on the 9th (as per a sign they had set-up), and will take place on the World Expo side of the lagoon. They have a couple of scaffolding towers set-up in preparation for the stunt, but it is still hard to tell what it exactly is.

No admission ticket required. Seating in the amphitheatre area on a first come, first serve basis.

Sunday, Jan 10th Universal Studios Starting at 9:00 a.m.
Admission to Universal Studios required to see production

Looks like Universal got the dates wrong....it should be the 7th, 8th, and 9th, not the 8th, 9th, and 10th. :lol:

Anyways, I'll be at IoA on the 7th....

Yep, they did get it wrong. On one part, it says the 7-9th, and then where it describes where the actual tapings are, the dates are wrong...good job!
