Greetings and salutations, unwashed masses of the internet. A friend and I, two young men in our early 20s and thuroughly nerdy to the core shall be attending the 2010 Transformers "Botcon" convention, which is being held in WDW in late june this year. My friend has not been to WDW since the early 2000s, and I have not been since 2004. By contrast, I actually go to DL every year due to attending an annual convention in anaheim. As such, I'd like to know what has changed since we last visited, and, more importantly, what at WDW would appeal specifically to our age group?

Transformers are coming to disney!??? Oh my my 9 yr old will flip. Ok you need to do Soarin' at epcot, unless you have done it ad DL, same ride. People love the new Nemo show at AK, it is similar to a short broadway show. I would think you might enjoy sampeling the beverages thru WS at epcot, teat track is fun as is mission to mars. MK does not have anything really new, the car stunt show at hollywood is good for 1 viewing, lots of explosions, also do the animation tour at hollywood and draw your own disney character, it opens at 10, then usually gets a long line. have a fantasmic safe trip! :p

Love the thread title!

We were somewhere around Gainsville when the pixie dust began to take effect?!?:ROFLOL:

I'm thinking drinking around the world and the spectacle of Illuminations. Don't scare any hitch hikers!

honestly man, my girlfriend and I went about 2 years ago (we were both 23 at the time) and it was the most fun I have ever had in my entire life.. WDW can really be an awesome time for people in their early twenties... basically, being able to walk around while drinking and going on rides like tower of terror and soarin and everything.. its just awesome.. Definitely try to have a drink in each country at Epcot (I only did 7 countries before I was nearly falling down).. and a lot of the rides even at magic kingdom (haunted mansion, splash mountain, thunder mtn) where alcohol isnt served are still so awesome that it should impress anyone at any age... also go to Downtown and get some drinks in you and just waltz around.. its awesome..

So basically... get drunk and go on a bunch of rides? I'd prefer not to be vomiting all over nine year olds if possible, and I guess I should mention that we'd like to not be particularly hung over during the convention.
