favourite restaurant...

so what's your favourite restaurant in the universal resort?

i always enjoy my time at margaritaville, esp. in the day watching the hulk flying by...i went to bubba gumps for the first time last summer which was decent and the food was simple but lovely...

but, my fav by a mile is finnegan's bar & grill in us!! the staff are brilliant! the entertainment and atmosphere is excellent! (last time I was there doc brown came in a did a duet with the singer) and the food is perfect theme park food, simple & tasty! last summer we were in our room at the hrh when we heard a storm was coming...so we left the comfort of the hotel and sprinted to us to weather the storm in finnegan's, was very cosy...

I am going to stray a bit from resturant, but my favourite place to eat is the sweet shop in Zeus Landing, everything is just sooooooooooo good .

Wife and I love Finnegans! We just went there tonight for drinks and the singer. It is such a great place, with good food and reasonable prices!

Margaritaville but that may be for other reasons. I was impressed by Mythos and I cant say enough good things about any meal Ive had in The Kitchen at the HRH.

This trip we plan to eat at The Kitchen, The Palm, Margaritaville and The Hard Rock Cafe. We did Bubbas, Mythos and Pastamore last trip.

I was going to try Emerils, for our anniversary but Ive read so many disappointing reports

ditto about emeril's...we intended to go last year but when we arrived it was empty and we didn't take that as a good sign (plus we'd met people earlier in the day who'd had a bad experience there)...we ended up at the latin quarter which was tasty and had a nice atmosphere...

i enjoyed nba the first time i went (the first year it opened) but we went last september and it was terrible...we waited 45 mins for cold food which we sent back...the lasagne was the worst i'd ever tasted, just minced beef is ketchup!! and we had to sit in the bar area because the main seating area was being refurbed...would never go back...

I have never been to Emeril's at Citywalk, but I have been to Emeril's Tchoup Chop at the Royal Pacific and that was really good. It still isn't anything above and beyond that level of restaurant, but by no means would I call it bad. The service was good, the selection was good, and overall the food quality was what you would expect from that level of place.

Has anyone ever done the Wantilan Luau at the Royal Pacific? The wife and i keep talking about doing it, but the one at the Poly was so terrible we aren't sure it is even worth trying.
