What's your favourite area of World Showcase. I think mine is probably Mexico mainly for the Gran Fiesta Tour which I think is a great attraction.

Oh, and the poll wouldn't let me add Canada!! Too many options.

Oh gosh...so many! But I'm going to have to choose the marketplace in Mexico. Love the inside-but-outside feeling, it's all dark and quiet, and smells soooo good in there.

At least half of them have been my fav at some point over the years:

Germany, because the indoor area is nice.
Mexico, because it was/is the only actual ride in WS. And so atmospheric indoors!
Japan. Best restaurant, best exhibitions, best entertainment, best shop. Except for the still not finished ride a perfect pavilion.
Canada. Great movie, lovely garden and rocky canyon. The closure of the upstairs bit and the now celeb infested movie have lessened it.
France. Poetic movie, plus I get to eat my baguette with cheeses
Italy. So very pretty. ^_^
America. The spiritual heart of WS

Wow, seven of them. Which leaves really only the UK - pretty, but surely they can try a bit harder?, Morocco - which like the real thing I dislike, and China, which is actually terrific, except for the restaurant feeling like a thousand others. And Norwendelle, I shall refrain from comment here. ;)

I was thinking almost exactly the same thing.

It was a real toss up between Mexico and China but I voted China. I like the peaceful area decorated with the ponds and bridges, and the Tomb Warriors exhibition area is so fascinating to me. Followed by the expansive shops/ gift areas. Then theres the wonderful outdoor show that the young acrobats put on. Along with the 9 dragons restaurant thats always a part of our dining choices. Puts this Pavilion at the top of my list.

I'm betting that there won't be a clear winner out of this poll. Since I had to pick I picked Italy, with its cool buildings and that amazing fountain/statue. But really, I enjoy all of World Showcase - it's my favorite part of WDW!

Mexico is our favorite WS pavilion for these reasons:
1. Grand Fiesta Tour is relaxing and fun
2. La Cava De Tequila is our favorite watering hole is WS
3. Its fun to watch them blow glass into amazing art as well as watch the craftsmen whittle wood into little animals etc.
4. I appreciate how they have crafts tables for children as you enter the pavilion
5. San Angel Inn has good food and is relaxing with the low lighting and view of the pyramid/volcano.
6. The AC is always nice in there :)

The United Kingdom. Having a fish and chips, a brown ale and listening to the band play. Great shopping too. Mexico is a close second, mostly due to the attraction now that it has The Three Amigos.

I vote for Norway or as some people like to call it Norwendelle. Being able to see how the real world helps create the fantasy worlds is something I wish Disney did more of in the WS. I loved the attraction in the castle that showed how real places in Norway influenced the look of Frozen. I'm looking forward to the new areas.

That attraction 'castle' is a stave church, which are typical for the real Norway.

I'm going to be a pest and say that this is what the princessification of Norway has done. Once the Stave Church housed an exhibit about stave church architecture. Which gave guests, children, a feel for the real thing. Nowadays it houses cartoons, leaving guests utterly uninformed, even misinformed. Swell place to take one's kids.

In effect, the EPCOT Stave Church IS the Disneyfied version, IS the fantasy world inspired by the actual Norway. Arendelle by contrast is an imaginary fantasy cartoon land, which happens to have a passing resemblance to Norway and the Nordic area because some inspiration was drawn from that. The Disneyfied version of Norway is being Disneyfied, until people mistake the princess toonland for the real thing.

I had to go with Mexico, walking into the nighttime marketplace in the middle of the day is just really cool to me for some reason

When I was a kid I would always think when I was riding in on the monorail that "One day I'm gonna stay there and look at the castle from my balcony". Now that dream has came true as we are members of the DVC at BLT. I know exactly what you mean about riding through the Contemporary. There's just "something" about it.
You two hit everything I love about this pavilion!! Well said!
