Favorite MK show

I know I posted one a while back about shows in general, but today I specifically wanted to do MK shows. You can also include previous and night time shows if you'd like. Here are mine, in no particular order.

1. The Enchanted Tiki Room
2. The Country Bears Jamboree
3. The Hall of Presidents
4. Mickey's Philharmagic
5. The Carousel of Progress

So basically I just named all the current shows but I love them all. Also (not sure if they count as a show) I love listening to the piano player outside of Casey's and the little band that plays around Frontierland.

Not a fan of the tiki room or the Country Bears.. and wouldn't mind not seeing them again.. In fact, last time we were down there, I volunteered to stay out side with the sleeping baby, rather than go into the tiki room..

Carousel of Progress is a must do every trip.

HoP and Philharmagic are good for at least every other trip. If we can fit it in, we go for it.. but it isn't a deal breaker if it doesn't work out this time.. we'll catch them next time.. But with the changes in HoP going on now.. It is higher on the priority list than normal.

I'm a fan of them all, never miss any of them. Monsters Inc has taken a while for me to add it into my like list. The best shows I look forward to watching are the live street characters that show up on Main Street and entertain guests with their antics. I'm eager to see the new Muppets Great Moments in History shows on my next trip. .

I forgot about Monsters Inc.. That is a must do.. often multiple times. One of these times I'll be 'that guy'..

We love Mickey's Philharmagic! We just watched Peter Pan last night (again). Just when Philharmagic would change from Peter to Jasmine, my daughter started singing the musical transition (and tried to add the magic carpet movements and breeze blowing in your face). It's fun and we love the music.
COP, HOP & Country Bears are also must-dos for us.

Philharmagic just gives me all the Disney feels and memories...it just hits all the classics in such a fun way.

But love me some Country Bear Jamboree and Carousel of Progress too.

1. Mickey's Philharmagic (I do it at least once a trip. Audience reactions are always so fun, people who haven't seen it before get into it)
2. The Carousel of Progress (I haven't done in in a long time, but it's something to do on an especially crowded day, or on a less crowded day when you get to do all your favorites a lot. I would be really sad if they got rid of it)
3. The Hall of Presidents (It's okay, used to be a big fan)
4. The Enchanted Tiki Room/The Country Bears Jamboree (haven't done either one in a long time, don't really care if I do either ever again. Wouldn't mind seeing new attractions in place of either of them, but I know they're both "classics" so that would tick off a lot of people)

What do you not like about the Tiki Room and the Country Bears? Just asking out of curiosity.

between the 2, I'd rather see the country bears.. but just not a fan of either show. Just not my kind of thing.. I may give the Tiki room another shot this trip (did I read somewhere that they changed the rules about bringing drinks in?), but we did the bears last trip, and will probably skip it..

I weep for the Main Street Electrical Parade as I type this..... of the current shows:

1. Enchanted Tiki Room - I spit on the grave of Iago
2. Country Bears Jamboree - I've seen it dozens of times, but it's always a treat to see someone else see it for the first time
3. Carousel of Progress - smells like grandpa's house *sigh*
4. Mickey's Philharmagic - diggin' some angry Donald
5. Hall of Presidents - good nap

I remembered the Tiki room and the country bear jamboree from my first trip when I was 5 so they were a must do when I took my little girls last year for their first trip and the shows were a blast from the past. I am sure they changed since then but my girls loved them. They especially were into the "Tiki Tiki Tiki room" song. It was the second attraction we went on when we got there and they were singing the song the rest of the trip.
