What is your all time favorite Disney self-mocking?

Mine is the giant golf ball with a cheap train set around it to symbolize Epcot at the Comedy Warehouse.

Makes me snicker every time.

The sign at Chester and Hester's that says "Take a Picture: Its the only freebie here!" How'd that one slip by the PR department??

I love the part in the Animation tour at the Studios when Robin Williams first turns into a cartoon and says "I'm a corporate symbol" when he becomes Mickey Mouse.

Also--in the MuppetVision pre-show when Rizzo the Rat comes out dressed as Mickey.

My favorite Disney self-mocking has to be the scene in The Lion King when Scar has Zazu "caged" in the ribcage of another animal and tells him to sing a song. And then Zazu starts right in with "It's a Small World" and Scar freaks out yelling "Any song but that!" :lol:

It cracks me up! And I can't help thinking of it when I ride IASM at WDW, too.

It isn't a self mocking joke, but it does make fun of the guests
When Rizzo is dressed up as Mickey in the MuppetVision pre-show!

Sam Eagle: "You are not Mickey Mouse, you are a rat!"
Rizzo: "What do they know? They're tourists!"

That and the skeleton in Haunted Mansion that is holding a fast pass. I think the source of that joke could be that at peak season, you'd be dead before getting a FP! :lol:

Oh, and the Jungle Cruise skippers often make jokes about Disney. I heard these the past few times I was there:

"For those of you who haven't been here before, welcome to the Jungle Cruise! For those of you that have, you are very sad! The jokes haven't changed!"

"Environmentalists may take interest that here at Disney, we recycle many things. Our jokes, for instance, have been recycled since 1971!"
