OK, I'll be the first to jump in here.

I would have to say that my favorite is "May Poppins." For it's time, the special effects were amazing. This was not the first time cartoon and live action had been combined, but it worked so well--especially the Penquin and Bert scene. Tea parties in the air, riding clouds, jumping into chalk pictures, sliding up bannisters, were and remain so much fun to watch.

The songs were the best I think that the Sherman Brothers ever composed for a Disney film. They fit the story so well and never got in the way of the story, but added to it.

The story may have not been the version Poppins author P. L. Travers would have liked, but the film version was just pure Disney magic from beginning to end.

And how could you not like Julie Andrews?

I second Beauty and the Beast. The animation was beautiful (the opening scene comes to mind - just a shot of the castle and its surroundings), the soundtrack was great (I loved pretty much all of them but Be Our Guest was a favorite), and the story was very touching. You really fell in love with the Beast by the end along with Belle, and that's hard to do!
