It's been a long time since I've eaten at a buffet at WDW. It's been so long, I can't even remember which one we ate at. With that being said, I would like to go to one on our next trip (whenever that may be). For some reason, I've always wanted to try the one at the Crystal Palace. What's your favorite buffet?

P.S.
I remember now!! It was the buffet at Tuskers

We've always enjoyed the Cape May seafood buffet at the Beach Club.
Biergarten gets a top spot on our list as well, as does the breakfast buffet at The Wave

Crystal Palace's buffets have gotten better, good variety of foods and desserts, the character interaction adds to the fun and makes dining there one of our go to ADR's. The room is somewhat loud with high ceiling echoes and lots of families with excited kids. When the Pooh parade starts, its a blast watching the kids parade around. The dining area is spacious and bright. And it is in MK, so its a winner.

Other favorites are 1900 Park Fare, Cape May, Boma, & Tusker.
Hollywood & Vine can be hit or miss for food quality.

Biergarten and Boma, no question. Biergarten is the perfect combo of a hearty, delicious buffet and an engaging, fun atmosphere.

Your enjoyment of the Crystal Palace will depend mostly on how much you want to meet the characters walking around; the food is pretty generic. But it's pretty inside!

1900 Park Faire is in my opinion the best option for breakfast and dinner.
Unless something has changed in the last 2 years, the dinner at Crystal Palace has been going steadily downhill for the last 6 or 7 trips. Fewer options, lower quality and the servings stations have been a mess.

Boma has a great breakfast, but AKL is tricky to get to for breakfast if you aren't staying there, or don't have a car.. Dinner there is good, but can be a bit on the adventurous side for some people.

Trail's End dinner is good one. It is a nice boat ride and a short walk from MK.

If there are seafood lovers in the group (specifically crab and clams), you can't go wrong with Cape May. It does have other stuff.. but I'm not sure there is enough non-seafood stuff to justify the price for someone who isn't going to get at least a plate full of crab legs. :)

We'll be trying Akershus breakfast, 1900 Park Fair dinner and Crystal Palace dinner on our next trip in September. I wasn't blown away with Crystal Palace breakfast.. never been huge on Pooh and friends, so that isn't a draw for me.. the food was good.. but nothing really stood out as outstanding.. It is a nice place to start your day.. but it isn't high on my list to return to for breakfast.

Some people like it, but Crystal Palace's food is pretty generic. That extends to the dinner buffet as well. I've had the Akershus breakfast and it's solid. If you want a buffet for your MK day I'd hop on the Monorail and go to Chef Mickey's. I read mixed reviews on it before trying it this past September, but it's higher quality food than Crystal Palace.

I guess it's just a matter of opinion, but we've been to both and while we prefer dinner at CM,s, the breakfast @ CP is better...it's buffet food, plain & simple.

Our favorite is definitely Chef Mickeys for breakfast, they have a killer amount of food, and it's always fun to see the characters at any age. We also love Cape May Buffet for breakfast and dinner! Hoop-dee-doo is also a top favorite dining place over at Wilderness Lodge Camp grounds. It's not buffet, but it's family style BBQ and it's delicious. The music and the act is corny but definitely fun and silly, especially with the pitchers of beer ;D

Cape May dinner is always amazing. 1900 park fare dinner is new on my list of favorites. We went 4 years ago and left unimpressed but we gave it another try in November and it was great! We made sure to let staff know how much we felt it improved :) this is in terms of food, the character interaction has always been great.
