Favorite background music?

I like to collect theme park background music. It's interesting to hear the different tracks Disney uses for its lands. One of my favorite tracks is over at Soarin' over California. It's the theme to American President. It's really weird hearing that play on Sirius XM's CineMagic channel. I think why are they playing music for Soarin'? Then I realize it's from the movie.

What are your favorite tracks being played at the parks?

Love collecting park music! I like just about every area loop, but BV Street and all the Fantasyland dark ride queue music loops are my favorites. But the one single track that will always represent pure Disneyland to me is the classic Pirates of the Caribbean Overture that you hear in the ride's load/unload zone.

And, this doesn't really count, but I could sit in Flo's and listen to 60's Motown Girl Group songs all afternoon. And I have.

You can't really hear the background music very well in many instances, usually because of the crowd noise. Ironically, despite my disdain for the land, I really like the electronic loop they added to Tomorrowland in the 2000s, but I think it was removed in favor of a Star Wars loop. At WDW MK, that loop is prominent and audible all throughout the land and on the Peoplemover. At Disneyland, the only time I ever heard it well was when exiting Space Mountain after closing when the area had been cleared out and it was cranking from the old Peoplemover station.

Speaking of Space Mountain, they play vintage EPCOT Center music around the concourse for some inexplicable reason.

I think Tomorrowland uses the same music loop as Discoveryland in DLP. I really like that music.

Whenever we go to Disneyland, the kids like to listen to the old 1313 S Harbor Blvd podcasts. They had about twenty retrospective shows based on different areas of the park. The kids really like the three Tomorrowland podcasts where they do ride audio and background music from the original rides all the way up to about ten years ago.

I've got probably 40+ different "loops" and my favorites:
Trader Sam's - 2 hours of tropical bliss
Disneyland Esplanade
Epcot Main Entrance
Epcot 25th Background Loop
Main Street Christmas Loop
Main Street Regular Loop
Tomorrowland Loop

I like the New Orleans ragtime that they play in N.O. Square but, by the end of a trip I don't want to hear it anymore? I also like the space age electronic music you hear while in line for SM. I remember staying at DCARH when it opened and sitting outside by the fireplace after the park had closed and you could still hear the roller coaster and screaming. Obviously piped in!

The loop outside of TOT. I guess it would be considered jazz? with some sort of reverb/ delay on the instrumentals. It's classic and haunting all at the same time.

I listen to an hour-long PoC load/unload loop at night that I got off Youtube. The clip is only 40 sec long, so is a bit repetitious, but if I keep it low enough it's just the right background sound to sleep by. If I play the CD of it along with a babbling brook download, it is even better. :joyfull:

I always enjoy the Tomorrowland bgm and SM's star tunnel.

Yes
The Aquasphere/Entry Plaza music at Tokyo DisneySea is so beautiful. They have separate daytime and nighttime loops, the night one being my favorite.

Yes! It may be Star Wars now, but usually if you stop by the restroom at the exit of Space Mountain you can hear some music from Universe of Energy or The Land. Everyone I point it out to thinks I'm crazy. It's usually so faint, you can barely hear it even if you try hard to.
