Favorite Ariel Interactions!

Hi! I hope this is the right place to post this!

Ariel is my favorite character. I've only been able to meet her once by when I did she asked which one of us (me or my best friend) was the guppy in the friendship and called the camera some made up word (surely from Scuttle!).

I was just wondering, what are your favorite things that Ariel has said or done when you met her?

I stood if front of my wife while Ariel was finishing up with the family before us. So when it was our turn to meet her I stepped out of the way so she could see "Ursula" coming toward her. She stayed completely in character and acted afraid of Ursula. Said she can't take her voice that she learned from the last time. I was impressed how she reacted so quickly to us in costume.

We had the best interaction with Ariel during a breakfast CRT at Citrico's in the Grand Floridian. She and my daughter had a great conversation about the food we were eating, the clothes my daughter was wearing - she had a small crown on which Ariel admired, the sunshine, etc. Probably the best interaction we've had with her all the times we've either done a M&G or character dining. Either it was the relaxed openness of the restaurant or this particular Ariel. As a matter of fact, all the Disney princesses at CRT during the move to Citrico's were so much more relaxed and engaged. Snow and I were BFFs by the time she left our table.

she asked my wife where we met and my wife told her in school and Ariel said something to the effect of '"oh so you met underwater"

For me, it was back in 2010. I remember one time Ariel asked me where I was from and how I traveled to Disney World. When I said I got there by airplane, she asked me what an airplane was. I'm not gonna lie. I got tongue-tied trying to explain what it was! I did my best and she asked, "So it's like a carpet with pixie dust?" and all I could say was, "Pretty much".

I once asked if her kingdom was near Atlantis (the Disney version). She said no, but she always wanted to swim over there and see what kind of neat stuff they had.

This was in 2007 during the Pirate and Princess party. We were in line to see Ariel (had no idea Eric was there) and we were sent through the line right as it got cut off. So since we were 'last in line' before their break, the two spend a LOT of time with us. My little cousin, who was 4 at the time, was scared of the male characters so wouldn't go near Eric. So, while Ariel was talking to her, my sister and I kept Eric company. Think...Anastasia and Drizella over Prince Charming! That's was us, lol

They were both so sweet and cute and we got some nice pictures. I didn't post any of my sister for privacy reasons, but these are shots of me with the two. I still call this my 'Magical Moment' because I always hate feeling rushed with the characters; not wanting to hold up the line and things like that. But because we were the last in line, they gave us all the time in the world. Oh, and my sister took the solo pic of Ariel and Eric; the two were so flattered that she asked for it and we got this nice pose.
