It's probably a common thread, but I was interested in hearing everyone's opinions on this! What is your favorite Disney animated film and why?
It's tough to decide...my vote goes to either Beauty and the Beast or Pocahontas:)

Beauty & the Beast is the one that just stood out to me from the first time I saw it. I think the ballroom scene really sealed it for me, but I also just love the story itself, always have.

Close runners-up: The Fox & the Hound & Mulan. With Mulan, I never really felt like it was standard Disney quality, but it was still a great movie with a lot of laughs, interesting character development & Eddie Murphy was a hoot. The Fox & the Hound was the very first Disney movie I ever saw, so it holds a special place with me as well.

I liked Beauty & the Beast. When I was little I always liked the story of how someone could fall in love with someone who was not like them. I'm a sap for that kinda stuff.

I saw lilo and stitch with my friend (wdwprincess03) three times and I love that as well... so cute.

Everybody thinks of the newer ones, the phase started by The Little Mermaid. Me, I love the classics. Lady and the Tramp (AND its sequel), 101 Dalmatians, The Aristocats, Fox & the Hound, Peter Pan. And of the new phase, Aladdin, The Emperor's New Groove, Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch and Lion King (mostly for Timon and Pumbaa).

Well, my favorite is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs... followed closely by The Lion King.

The Dwarfs are awesome at a close 2nd, but I will have to go with Aladdin on this one. ( I will probably change my mind later, but for now its Aladdin!!!!!)
