So I have to use all 3 fp to get 1 more? I thought after I used my first that I’d be able to get another

That's right, use all 3 or let them expire, then you can get more. I've gotten up to 3 more in a day at MK that way.

Yes, you have to use all three before you can select an additional one. You can keep selecting after each single one is used or expired until no FP are left for that day.

Also if one does expire before you use the remaining, you can modify it and select a different one.

The availability of the more popular attractions may be harder to get later in the day, thats why many guests try booking earlier times so the 3 can be used and additional FP+ choices may be better.
