Fastpass...losing out?

First thing I thought of in this situation was E:E. I always feel like I'm missing out when using Fast Pass, but it comes down to whether or not I want to see the queue or ride as many times on my 2nd favorite ride at WDW as possible. Usually I pick the FastPass route. Now if the line isn't long, I will definitely take the stand-by.

For some reason the other day I was reminiscing about waiting for Splash Mountain in the days before FastPass. At the time, those hour long waits did not seem fun, but for some reason I kind of miss them. I don't know exactly why because I don't think you miss much by using FastPass, but I guess it gave me time to build up my anticipation more. Or maybe it just reminds me of my youth...:(

I second the E:E and Star Tours standby queue designs. I didn't use Fastpass on ToT so I don't know what you'd miss there. I used a fast pass on Splash Mountain and BTMRR and did not feel that I missed a thing. :animwink:

What do you mean. The Star Tours queue runs alongside the standby queue. Nothing is missed.

E:E is the only attraction I can think of off-hand where you miss a substantial portion of the themed queue. All the others take you through at least one part of the queue where you can see almost everything. The only attraction where that I know of where you miss the pre-show is if you do the single-rider line for Test Track. They don't always play the pre-show for that line.
