FASTPASS: Step-By-Step:

Disney's FASTPASS is a revolutionary guest enhancement at Disneyland (name of park resort's location) Resort, enabling guests an alternative to waiting in lines for many of the most-popular attractions. There is no additional charge to use the FASTPASS service. Here's how it works:

1.) Ticketed guest or annual passholder enters the park main gate.

2.) Guest visits any attraction offering the FASTPASS service. Here, guest has the option of waiting in the regular standby line or choosing FASTPASS. To assist, there's a digital clock denoting regular wait time and the return time for FASTPASS.

3.) If the FASTPASS option is chosen, a guest inserts his or her theme park ticket into the FASTPASS machine. Out comes the free FASTPASS denoting when to return to the attraction. Holders of FASTPASS are given a one-hour window for their return-- for example, 10:05-11:05 am. That means the guests cannont enter the attraction using FASTPASS before 10:05 but is free to return at any time during the designated one-hour window.

4.) Upon returning at the designated time, the guest heads straight for the FASTPASS entrance and proceeds directly to the attraction pre-show or boarding area with little or no wait.

5.) Guests are able to get as many FASTPASS tickets in a day as they want. However, they must use their current FASTPASS ticket or wait two hours before getting another FASTPASS ticket.

If anyone has questions, comments, and/or suggestions, please fell free to post! :)

HISTA won't be that popular with all those rides! I say get rid of FP for that! POTC is a people eater so you can cut it out from there as well!

At the Studios I say, get rid od WWTBAM FP! The show isn't that popular anymore!

That's my advice!

POTC will run for 14-15 minutes in my park (which will be similar to Disneyland's). WDW's runs for about 8 minutes. With the extra time, I would very likely need FP. FYI, Disneyland has FP with their 14-15 min. POTC ride.

Just thought you'd like to know! :)

Yes but at DL it runs at low capacity! At DLP which is also long it runs with 22-24 boats X 16 people per boat! That's a lot of people riding!!!

Good decisions on what to use FastPass for. If I may make a suggestion, HISTA may not need FP, along with It's Tough To Be A Bug. Both of these attractions take in a lot of people at a time and many times the wait is no longer than 10-15 minutes. I do know for a fact that ITtbaB FastPass is only available on two days of a week usually, and sometimes it's only used when lines are long.

As for Pirates of the Caribbean, you could say the DL and WDW versions aren't like Omnimovers in loading. While at Disneyland last Monday, the wait for PotC was 45 minutes, and their version does use FastPass. The WDW version can also rack up a good wait as well sometimes, I have seen it at a 50 minute wait the day after Thanksgiving. But most of the time, you won't have a wait longer than 15 minutes because it isn't as long as the DL version, and that's also why it doesn't have FastPass. DL's Pirates of the Caribbean seems to always have a long line.

I made a couple of revisions to my FASTPASS list. Here is what I now have:

MAGIC KINGDOM:

Adventureland:
Haunted Mansion
Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull
Jungle Cruise
Pirates of the Carribean

Critter Country:
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Splash Mountain

Discoveryland:
Autopia
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
Space Mountain

Fantasyland:
Matterhorn Bobsleds
Peter Pan's Flight

Frontierland:
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Mickey's Toontown:
Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin

DISNEY STUDIOS (NAME OF PARK'S LOCATION):

Cinemagic Special Effects Stage
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
Jim Henson's Muppet*Vision 3-D
Star Tours
Tron: The Ride
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Play It!

IIRC, both Disney-MGM and California Adventure have FASTPASS for WWTBAM?, so I decided to use it here too. If the crowds aren't big enough for Who Want's To Be a Millionaire? Play It!, I could only use FASTPASS for WWTBAM? on weekends and during peak seasons (ie: Summer, Christmas, Spring Break, etc.) only.
