FastPass Cross-Park

Something I've never had to worry about because we've never taken full advantage of Park Hopper... I know you can't have more than one active FP at a time (unless the time for one has already come) but can you have more than one active cross-park?

That's not making sense so here's an example...

It's 10am. I am in AK, I FP Everest and it gives me a return time of 6:00-7:00p. Could I leave AK, head to DHS and FP Tower of Terror or would I have to wait until 6:00?

EDIT: To clarify - what I'm trying to determine is, does the 2-hour rule apply if you switch parks? If I got said Everest FP at 10am could I get a TSM FP at 11am because it's a different park?

I see no problem with this.We got a FP for Soarin for 4.00-5.00pm at 11.30am but left HS around 3.00pm.we handed our FP tickets to a family and they were over the moon.

The system won't let you get another FP for two hours [or the start of your current FP window, whichever comes first]. I'm pretty sure that applies to other parks as well.

But yes, you can leave to another park and return later for your FP window and while elsewhere you can do whatever you'd normally do there. The only risk might be if the FPs at the second park were for the same time window, it might be tight getting both in.

Ok that's specifically what I'm trying to determine... (if that applies to property or park). We are going to be hopping a lot and if we get a FP for something that isn't until much later, we may leave the park and therefore want to FP something else with an earlier return time. Sounds like that won't be happening though if you're assumption is right. No biggy... figured I'd ask before we tried. :D

Well, in your original scenario, you could get FPs for Everest at 10, leave and head to DHS and get FPs for Tower at noon. Ride tower on your FPs and return to AK to ride Everest at 6. It's not outside the realm of possibility. The specific rides you mention don't tend to get FPs with that long a lag, but TSMM at DHS does, you could easily get FPs there and have ample time to go elsewhere, get and use other FPs before returning to TSMM.

Thanks. I'm less worried about time and more trying to determine does the 2-hour rule apply if we switch parks. 10 and 12 was probably a bad example because in that case, it would fall into the 2-hour rule. LOL!

EDIT: Sorry... 10 and 12 was your example, not mine. I'm slow today. LOL!

I believe the system is linked across the parks. How do you plan to get around? A lot of hopping can eat up considerable chunks of your day. You might be better off just waiting in a longer queue than trying to go to another park for a bit of time.

The honest answer to your question is "it depends." We aren't going to hop THAT much but there are some occasions where we have an ADR at one park for dinner but a tour at another on the same day etc. We drive down and have our own vehicle (our preference so we have control over time) but if we hopped from say MK to Epcot we'd monorail it. We have used the busses on rare occasions where we did hop before and they are ok but most of our hopping will be "ok I'm bored here what do you want to do now?" or, in this example "Ok well the one thing we want to do here we have to wait until tonight to do so what do you want to do until then?"
