Fastpass+ Concerns

I've heard about how you get a wristband for the parks if you don't use a smartphone
but what if you loose one? Can you get a new one? Or do you have to start using a smartphone to get your fastpasses

Supposedly they'll have kiosks in the parks hope this thing doesn't ruin all the spontinatity in the parks

That's what they're saying hope so, as I'm smart phone challenged by choice.

That must be difficult. Of course, the plus side to not having a smartphone - in addition to the excess money you'll be stockpiling - is that you have the opportunity to see things around you, as opposed to having your face glued to a 4 inch screen in your hand. Progress!

Not that I don't have one just refuse to use it for other than it's original intended use. Calling actual personal interaction If I need to communicate by web I have this sight and #$@$% E mail by the way I love this sight

We're planners, but losing on-the-spot spontaneity is a concern. Possible demise of park hopping is a concern. The FP+ maximum in one day is a concern, the potential to penalize people for planning ahead and using their time wisely, only to be locked out of FastPasses over the pre-set limit. The creation of FP+ venues where before there were no FastPasses at all (parade views, Castle shows). The persistent, nagging feeling that the "real" FP+ rationale lies in those spreadsheets of the "sharp pencil boys" that appear to prove that the Billion or so is a good idea because of the behavior modifying, wallet-tapping, crowd-controlling, herd management benefits known to but a few.

I would imagine you could pick another one up on property. May be a slight delay, but ultimately it shouldn't be a problem. Those things probably can be adjusted to fit so they wont fall off. Even then, I'd think losing it would have to be somewhat of a conscious effort.

The wrist band or RFID ticket will allow you to use FASTPASS+ and the new turnstiles. To make a FASTPASS+ reservation you will need to use either a website, smartphone, or in-park kiosk. If you lose your wristband or RFID ticket you will need to go to guest relations to get it replaced.
