Fast Pass Question?

Can you get a FP for someone (using their ticket) if they haven't entered the park? Here's my situation. On one day of our trip we have a late breakfast at Cape May. We plan to take bus to DHS and boat to Beach Club. I want to run into DHS and get TSM FPs for us. My mom told me she didn't think I could do that unless we all went in the park to activate our ticket for that day. I just don't want us to have to go through security and turnstiles with the kids if we don't have to.

Nope. The fastpass machine will know whether a if ticket has or has not been used to get into the parks. If it has not it will not print a valid fastpass.

To be eligible for fastpass the ticket must have been used as admission that day in the entrance gates.
