Fast pass+ and child swap

We are just 33 days away from our check in at POP! Our family consists of myself, DH, DS (7), DD(6) and DS (2). I have just made ourFP selections for the week, but now am questioning some of them. If I made FP reservations for Splash Mtn but my 2 yr old can't ride it, we were planning on doing the rider switch (DH takes big kids while I wait with little one and then we switch). However, I got all 4 of us the FP. Should I have only gotten my husband and big kids the Splash Mtn FP and then gotten myself something else like Peter Pan FP so that youngest and I can enjoy that while waiting on the others to finish their Splash Mtn ride? I want to best utilize the FP option. Thanks for any help you can give!

I agree use 3 FP+ selections for Splash and get two for something you can do with your 2 yo while waiting. Then you can reride with both the older kids. Otherwise you are wasting your FP+ choice since you get to use the child swap ticket as a FP.

We'll have FP+ on our trip in September- will be me, my mom, dd 13, dd 12, ds 11, ds 19 months. Can we so baby swap with grandma waiting with the baby and then let the three older kids use the baby swap and grandma use her FP

Just wondering if this worked and kids were able to ride twice? We have got 2 adults, three kids and an infant. I'm trying to sort out the best use of the fp+. Does this mean I should only use two FP+ for each ride to get 5 people through? Thank you!

Yes you could do 2 FP and have one adult and one child go through then the other adult and child can ride with the rider swap pass. You can double your FP+ choices for the height restricted rides this way.

I've actually made the same "mistake," so am thinking I should undo it. But somehow child swap is always confusing to me  In the suggestion above, does EVERYONE need to go on the Fastpass line, so that the CM sees there's a child who isn't riding, then they give you the child swap ticket, and you can go on another ride with the child who isn't riding? And then meet up again at the first ride, and isn't only ONE of the people who already rode allowed to ride with you so you don't ride alone?
