Its being completely repainted a different color. You can see it in some of the latest aerial shots taken of Fantasyland by Scott Keating.

Sounds great. My dream vision for this area is to have the Speedway torn out and the whole northern portion dedicated to a Wonderland mini-land. The southern portion of the Speedway would house a new Tomorrowland attraction, and the border between the two lands would finally be made more aesthetically coherent.

OK, so this is probably not where they're going with this Cheshire Cafe overlay, but a fellow can hope, right?

:sohappy: Me too, me too!!!!
My daughter has drawn out plans on how to rip out the speedway and make it an interactive Wonderland maze and an Alice dark ride. She keeps wondering if any imagineers would listen to her and would like to see her crayon drawings.
In any case, she will be over the moon at the fact that Enchanted Grove will be Cheshire Cafe!

I like how the theme will tie in to Mad Tea Party. Little name changes like this just improve the overall atmosphere altogether IMO. Tortuga Tavern seems like its doing pretty well!

This is cool if they eventually plan to build an Alice mini-land over a portion of the speedway footprint.

I wouldn't have minded though if they rethemed the teacups to a Pooh theme and also the eatery to create a land based on the Pooh character. Makes me wonder if the Pooh darkride will be around in 10 years.

wouldn't that be nice to see an Alice dark ride and maze added to the park! Get rid of that awful Speedway already! lol

Oh how I would love it if they brought back the Strawberry Swirl :slurp: I won't cross my fingers though...

Unfortunately no, that's one of the areas I work in and our slushies have sold well above the amount of strawberry swirls we had before and there's no sign of bringing it back.

However, I ask each and every guest that I serve there to go to guest relations and request for it to come back! :D

Just throwing out that the strawberry swirl should have grape too and make it a cheshire swirl....

It's Pooh. Of course it'll still be around.

:slurp: I would buy a mixed berry swirled slushie -- maybe strawberry and blueberry instead of grape. I don't care from the frozen lemonade that is there now -- way to tart for me!
