Did Fantasyland just get a redo? Yes. Was it good? Kind of. Well I’ve decided we’re keeping the good and gutting the bad.
It would be split up into 3 sections: Hero’s, villains, and clash.
Heroes: The Noble Adventurers and Royals You Know and Love
This section would remain Mostly the same as it stands now. Peter Pan and It’s a Small World are both staying, Mickey’s PhilharMagic would get an updated film, keeping almost everything from the original and adding new scenes from Frozen, Moana, or Tangled
The Carousel remains untouched as is, and the Pinocchio Village Haus is safe (though could potentially be rethemed into the Manticore Tavern)
Only major update to this area is the complete removal of the Tangled area. Instead, an alley will be added as a queue for Disney Pixar’s Onward: Grand and Glorious Quest.
The attraction would use the same ride system as Dinosaur/Indiana Jones. You would board a Gwynivere that had just had its roof ripped off by a rock Barley hit while escaping a threat caused by a mishap in Ian’s magic. Upon noticing your arrival, he asks that you meet him at the Manticore’s Tavern, where the preshow begins.
An Animatronic of Barley sits at a table that is positioned so that everyone can see, as he explains that Ian is trying his best to fix what he can of his van and that you need to use small mini wands Ian has made to help destroy the monster, as Ian sensed that there is magic in the guests.
Upon leaving, you load your Gwinivere (top still ripped off) in the Manticore Parking Lot at night. From here, Barley will tell everyone that they are ready to go.
The front of the truck will be blocked off by a curtain unreachable by guests, and will move to the side if either Ian or Barley needs to inform the guests of something.
Most of the attraction consists of moving the story forward with the use of attacking a monster and it’s forces with your mini wand that is installed into the ride vehicle. It lights up when in use.
At the end of the ride, you exit through the Village Haus, rethemed to the Manticore’s Tavern.
Disney Princess Darkride (Name and plot unknown)
I want the Princess Fairytale Hall gone so bad and my solution to appease this is an Avengers-style crossover of Princesses. Not like Wreck it Ralph, but more like Avengers. It would help ease into the villains section.
Villains: Rotten to the Core
A lot is getting taken out, but a lot of structure remains.
The entire Beauty and the Beast village is safe. The villains portion relies heavily on Gaston, as it already does in the park, and would be a transitioning point between heroes and villains.
Jafar Rollercoaster
As a Retheme to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Jafar will be getting a Rollercoaster, themed to the section of Aladdin in which he devises a plan to get the Genie’s Lamp from “Prince Ali.”
The inside mine would be rethemed to red bricks, with Gilbert Godfreid’s soothing voice over the speakers with the safety spiel.
When you enter the Dwarf’s mine for the main animatronic section, it is instead replaced with various scenes behind thin screens of sand falling, showing Jafar’s past attempts, not only catching up the people who (for some reason) didn’t watch Aladdin and filling in show scenes.
Where Doc is, a Jafar animatronic will send Iago out to get the lamp, and the shadow as you climb the lift hill will be Iago.
The dwarfs cottage scene will be changed to be Aladdin’s palace thing from the part of the movie where Iago takes the lamp, with Iago dressed as a Flamingo outside the door, an Aladdin animatronic saying “I have to tell Jasmine the truth” inside of the palace thing (I do not know the correct term).
Hade’s Underworld Boat Journey
Would Disney ever do this? No.
Would I do this? Absolutely.
A slow moving boat ride tour through the Underworld. You see Hades, the fates cutting the threads (you can sneak in some ghosts of former attractions in here like Dreamfinder to rip that bandaid off) and the 3 headed dog (big animatronic, crown jewel of the attraction)
Where would this go? Demolish Little Mermaid for it.
Snow White’s Scary Adventures
Bring back SWSA where Winnie the Pooh is. That’s it. That’s the concept.
Clash: Who Will Win?
The current location of Storybook Circus becomes a battle ground for these characters that will decide the fate of the Magic Kingdom. You are part of the battle, you can help a side by choosing.
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Dumbo will still have 2 spinners going, but the second one will be replaced with Aladdin magic carpets (removing it from Adventureland and restoring peace of the kingdom)
The camels come with it. It’s a win win.
Stage Show: Final Showdown
The heroes of the land fight the villains in a really cool stage show. That’s all I’ve got.
Meet and Greets
Every hero will have their villain to meet and vice versa, all throughout the area, but most commonly found near their attraction or Clash.
Aladdin, Jafar, Genie
Hercules, Hades
Ian and Barley
Peter Pan
Belle and Gaston (Beast remains in Be Our Guest)
Princess Fairytale Hall is moved to The Clash area. (You’re welcome)
Those are all my ideas with some images included. Not the highest quality pictures but they get my point across well I think.
