fantasyland growing tired?

Just recently my daughters and I were watching video of our latest trip to WDW. During one section of tape, I noticed that the architecture of Fantasyland looks dated when compared to what they've done in other parts of the MK. Having been to DL in California a number of times, including summer of 1984 when the total rehab of their Fantasyland was finished (Alice and the Mad Tea Party were finished a year after the rest of FL) I was wondering how many of you would like to see the same treatment to the MK Fantasyland applied (Alpine village type architecture). Disneyland Paris shares the same Alpine motif as in Disneyland, whereas Tokyo shares the Medival tent theme like in Florida. I realize that the old 20,000 Leagues lagoon doesn't fit with the alpine theme, but it doesn't really fit in the current theme either. Maybe when an attraction is developed for that space, an overall transformation of the entire land could occur. Those are my thoughts. How about yours?

Yea!

Yea! They kind of already have some of this style started with Pinocchio's.... Plus it would incorporate the old Fantasyland Skyway Station better and they could turn it into a restaurant. (Where did I hear that?? I know I heard it somewhere... was this a rumor?) They could even re-style it to blend in better with the castle like the surrounding areas behind the castle do. But I do agree, it needs a facelift, just something new.
