I saw that Disney Parks tweeted today that the groundbreaking has occured for the new Fantasyland. I know that they are doing this in phases, but I was wondering if anyone had any insight on what they might be closing to accomodate the changes. We may be taking the kids down there in late May, and I would like to give them some warning if anything they used to like to see (Mickey/Minnie's houses, Pooh's Playful Spot, etc) may already be gone.

Simply judging from what they are building and where they are building about the only closures I see happening are possibly Dumbo and of course Toontown and ToonTown will more than likely not close for some time..

We were there last week and CMs have been told that ToonTown will be the last area to close and will be around for at least another six months.

Right now they are working on the Winnie the Pooh exterior. This may mean that Pooh's Playful Spot will close shortly, but it does seem they will keep Mickey's Toontown Fair open through the summer.

I don't feel strongly one way or the other about Toontown Fair, but if I can avoid spending 3 hours in Pooh's Playful Spot on my next trip, it would be most appreciated.
